The narrative style allows us to sit right on their shoulders and explore this fascinating world through their eyes, and feel every emotion as discoveries put them to the test. In its action and dramatic turns, the adrenaline-fueled sequences of danger and peril were cinematically described and suitably vivid, and there were certainly a few heart-pounding twists that broke the usual rhythm for a brilliant surprise here and there. The exploration of themes of freedom, friendship, and the power of resistance bubbles away beautifully in the background, building to a poignant conclusion that teaches some powerful lessons.
