Collaborative Confidence by Heather Backstrom is a guide for ambitious women who wish to be great leaders and contribute to the growth of others. The author has formulated a three-step plan to help you achieve these goals. The steps are Activate, Amplify, and Accelerate. In the activate stage, a person needs to be self-aware of her strengths and weaknesses, think positively, create personal core values, and be attentive to feedback and how people perceive her. The next step is to amplify her executive presence and elevate other women by supporting their causes and opinions. The last stage is to accelerate, and it involves implementing changes that allow women to rise in the workplace and create opportunities that promote inclusivity. Women will transform their experience and improve work culture by reading this book and combining these three elements.

Collaborative Confidence is a good title for this book because it perfectly encapsulates the author’s message. Encouraging each other and promoting personal growth is a beautiful message for women in all sectors of life. Heather Backstrom’s strategy can apply to anyone who wishes to elevate themselves and others. I loved that her program does not seek to downgrade male leadership. Instead, she makes it an individual self-reflection and improvement plan for women. The book is well-researched, with references from various sources, and the author uses practical examples and stories to explain her ideas and raise critical points. She also teaches strategies and exercises you can use to achieve your goals. I liked the book's design and format because it made it easy and enjoyable to read. Every woman should get a copy of this book and begin their journey to becoming a better person and more effective leader.

Collaborative Confidence is a work of non-fiction in the self-improvement, motivational, and business subgenres. It is suitable for all adult readers and primarily focused on empowering women. Heather Backstrom presents a work that intends to inspire women in business and leadership roles to enhance their self-awareness and, in turn, celebrate their talents and put themselves forward for more opportunities for success and growth. Further, the work seeks to empower women to celebrate other women too, grow together, and bring one another up in the world by amplifying each other’s skills.

Heather Backstrom has much to offer the world of business and leadership in this important work, which showcases the many skills and talents that women in the workplace have and highlights the need to celebrate these talents now more than ever. Where men have never really had to shout very loud to be recognized for their skills, Dr. Backstrom notices the need for increased amplification from women, and she has just the right way of phrasing her work to show how this can be achieved with maximum effect. The organization of the narrative is excellent, making it easy to see the logical building of ideas and refer back to specific advice at any time when you need to implement it. Overall, Collaborative Confidence is highly recommended for women who want to lead and succeed and help others around them to do so too.

Collaborative Confidence by Dr. Heather Backstrom is written with the hope that she can help women raise their self-worth and influence, grab opportunities that seem out of reach, nurture their authority, and support other women while showcasing their skills. Dr. Backstrom builds her narrative around three pillars encouraging women to learn about themselves and their skills. First, we are persuaded to evaluate opportunities while helping other women and boosting the movement for collaborative confidence. Then, at the book's close, she details other organizations that strengthen women.

Dr. Heather Backstrom focuses on common problems women face in the workplace by sharing stories about people she has coached, and she backs up her assessments with science, statistics, and research. It allows us to reevaluate our feelings, examining ourselves internally and externally. Backstrom directs us to journal our thoughts, meditate, receive constructive feedback, and rid ourselves of negative self-talk. She shares techniques that will enhance comprehension and hone skills and lists exercises for relaxation and mindfulness. Women will learn the value of understanding the corporate culture, viewing themselves as role models, and gaining visibility for themselves and other females. You will feel comfortable applying her suggestions as Dr. Backstrom has coached high-level business professionals. She advises women in a conversational tone, allowing us to digest the contents of her work thoroughly. Collaborative Confidence is an excellent book for women ready to take positive steps toward a more prosperous life and career.
