A Fairy's Quest is the third installment of Maya Tyler's supernatural fantasy series, The Magicals. After her encounter with Helene Bauer, Alina Lehrer suffers from a plague of visions and trauma, affecting her relationships with her friends and family. Feeling heartbroken by Kurtis Wade, Alina focuses on unlocking the secrets of a mysterious book that provides her with a glimpse into the feud for the fairy throne between the Delafontaines and the Bauers. As Atlas and Lucie inch their way to parenthood, Gina, Alina's mother, sees the opportunity to claim the vacant fairy throne and sends Alina to Paris to stake their claim in front of The Royal Court of Fairies and restore their family legacy. Meanwhile, Monoceros sends an assassin named Rylan Jackson after Alina. But things get complicated when Alina and Rylan fall head over heels for each other.
A Fairy's Quest is an absorbing tale of fairies, wizards, vampires, and assassins that entertains you from beginning to end. Author Maya Tyler's vivid imagination spawns an enthralling world filled with magic, romance, and betrayal that hooks you in and refuses to let go. Alina is a likable protagonist that you can't help rooting for. Her quest to restore her family legacy and her relationship with Rylan form the backbone of the narrative. The portrayal of topics such as trauma and depression is authentic and well-executed. The plot moves quickly, and it feels like a breeze to go through. If you're a fan of supernatural romance novels, I highly recommend A Fairy's Quest.
