A One-of-a-Kind Hot Air Balloon Adventure by Melanie Michael is a delightful adventure where readers get to see the fun Uncle Ezra’s niece and nephew have when he goes to the bathroom. The balloon starts to rise off the ground when Andy pulls a cord and it also lifts Farmer Brian off the ground when he chases them after hearing their cries. On the way, a little girl, a big round lady, a van full of tourists, twenty-seven monkeys, and a tug boat get caught up. The balloon goes past an airplane into space and everyone sees the moon there. They are slowly moving towards the sun and they all fear getting burnt. Will Andy be able to find a solution so that the hot air balloon can go back to the ground?

The story is fun and delightful and takes readers on a wonderful journey with the hot air balloon. The illustrations are bright and colorful; they breathe life into the characters and scenes, and give a good pace and movement to the story. It’s a good bedtime storybook for parents and grandparents to read out to their kids and grandkids. The story can also be used for interactive sessions in classrooms and school libraries.

Storybooks like this will make children love adventure and also make them imagine and look forward to being adventurous and having fun. All the characters are lovable and relatable to readers, and will make them feel like having an adventure like this where they can float into the sky.
