In his latest book A Young Man's Guide to Making Right Choices, author Jim George explains to young teens how difficult it is to make time for good choices when everyone seems to be vying for their time. The Christian way is to admit that you have not always made good choices, and then, ask God to help you develop a consistent way to make right choices. As with most change, one must begin with small steps and build and develop the character to act and react to difficult choice situations. He must define his "game plan" and then set out his priorities. Consistency in action, both at home and away, is the key to success.

The author suggests that if a teen dresses as if he is approachable and dependable, results will more likely happen as the program proceeds. Selfish motives must be addressed and tackled head on. He must think before he verbalizes his thoughts and feelings and then not be afraid to voice an opinion that might reflect a tough choice. Positive communication and truthfulness will put him on the road to success.

The author puts the choices squarely on the shoulders of the teen, but there are guidelines offered, as well as tips on being a good student and making positive choices. The language is straight-forward and backed by Biblical verses to which the teen can refer. This is a basic book for any Christian teen wanting a more disciplined facet in daily life.
