All My Roads: A Caribou Springs novel is a work of romance fiction penned by author Cortny Joy. The work is best suited to the mature adult reading audience due to the presence of intimately described sexual scenes and references to loss, violence, and abuse. In this heartfelt and emotive novel, we are introduced to protagonists Ken Holbrook and Stacey James. Ken’s life has been a maelstrom of grief and crisis for some time, so Ken is wary when newcomer Stacey arrives on the scene and immediately bonds with Ken’s young daughter. But as he learns that Stacey has demons of her own to slay, the pair begins to journey together on a path that could lead them back to healing, hope, and happiness.

Author Cortny Joy presents a deep and inspiring romance novel with faith and trust at its core, making for a really satisfying read overall. The darker content in the characters’ pasts is handled with grace and never overplayed for melodrama, and it allows us as readers to get an in-depth view of two people whose faith has been shaken as they turn to one another (albeit reluctantly at first) in order to heal. I felt for Stacey especially, and her turbulent story will certainly resonate with many people who come to this book looking for hope and love beyond disaster. As for the romantic scenes, they were elegantly penned, emotionally and physically intense, and will satisfy romance fans thoroughly. Overall, I would highly recommend All My Roads to romance fans and emotional drama enthusiasts alike.

All My Roads: A Caribou Springs Novel by Cortny Joy is a contemporary romance written in a lively style with memorable characters and compelling plot points. Ken Holbrook is a former Army Ranger and a single father. He is still grieving the loss of his wife while struggling to take care of Ginny, his little daughter. Then comes Stacey James, a woman who doesn’t trust easily, and as she becomes entranced by Ken’s calm and thoughtful nature, her liking for Ginny also grows stronger. While they are attracted to each other, they have troubles of the past that haunt them. Can they overcome what is holding them back from the journey toward each other?

This is a mesmerizing story of loss, love, and healing, sprinkled with powerful Christian themes. Readers will love the way the author writes about faith, providing insights that they can understand. For instance, Ken comes to the realization that “Walking with the Lord didn’t guarantee a life without tragedy, but a Shadow in every fire.” Such insights are manifold in this novel and there are moments when the reader has to stop and allow them to sink in. The characters are strong and genuinely flawed. The internal dialogues unveil character depth and allow readers to connect deeply with their thoughts and feelings. Cortny Joy has the gift of entertaining readers while inspiring thoughtful reflection as they follow the characters. Family and romance are amongst some of the boldly written themes in this novel. The prose is enticingly beautiful, the plot cunningly developed, and the characters are relatable. All My Roads: A Caribou Springs Novel is a delightful read and one I would gladly recommend for book clubs.

All My Roads: Caribou Springs is the first part of the Holbrook Love Series by Cortny Joy. Ken Holbrook is a single father to a sweet young girl called Ginny. Losing his wife was perhaps the most difficult time in his life, and only the thought of being there for his daughter kept him going. It was Ken and Ginny against the world with the whole Holbrook family trying to help the father/daughter duo to the best of their abilities. Ken thought of a lot of things, but he had not anticipated Stacey James. Stacey came into their lives suddenly, and before Ken knew it, she had become an important person to Ginny. There was an undeniable attraction between Ken and Stacey, but before they could give love a chance, they had to figure out their pasts before they moved forward to the future.

All My Roads was the smoothest novel I've ever read. Soft, emotional, and a beautiful story from start to finish, Ken and Stacy had me hooked. Ken and Ginny were adorable together, and the whole Holbrook family was a great help to the father/daughter duo. Cortny Joy did a wonderful job of allowing readers to get up close and personal with the characters as they go through grief, love, second chances, and every emotion they feel. The pace was fast, the narrative was perfect, and the characters had enough time to develop properly. After the first chapter, I felt a connection to Ken and understood his dilemma. Stacey’s arrival was like a breath of fresh air for Ginny as well. They connected instantly, and their interactions were adorable. This was just the beginning of Ken, Stacey, and Ginny’s story. I cannot wait to read more about them.
