Author Biography

Dominique Gibson became fascinated by the paranormal romance genre after reading Twilight and watching her favorite TV show The Vampire Diaries. After exploring her options in traditional publishing, Dominique decided to try self-publishing her work. After self- editing and researching her options when it came to editors editing her work, she found Judy Roth and together, she edited her work to a polished manuscript and decided to post her first book, An Orman’s Revenge, on Amazon Direct Publishing (also known as Amazon KDP). She became so fascinated by the characters and the world that she created, she decided to turn the Truson Super Elite Team into a book series that is set on a remote island called The Island of Truson.

If she were able to describe what the series is about, she would say that it’s a “book series set on an island where hybrids save the world and fall in love all at once.”

When Dominique is not working on writing her masterpieces, she’s also teaching a bunch of two-year-olds at a daycare center in Skokie, IL while obtaining her master’s degree in creative writing from Southern New Hampshire University. She previously graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Administration in 2017.

Ford was a grieving man. Ten years earlier, his wife, Roxanne, died in a deliberate jet ski accident. He lived to find her killer. He was steadfast in his mission when Mandy’s corpse washed up on the Island of Truson's shores. She was taken in and given the Animan three-hundred, which brought her back to life. Ford was designated to care for Mandy, but for the first time since his wife’s death, he felt a romantic spark for someone else and it was mutual. Unfortunately, an investigation showed that there was a strong link between Mandy and the killer of Ford’s wife. He was between the devil and the deep blue sea. Will he abandon his mission for love or avenge his forever love, Roxanne? Find out in An Orman’s Revenge: The Truson S.E.T. Series by Dominique Gibson.

An Orman’s Revenge by Dominique Gibson is a beautiful paranormal romantic story that will appeal to lovers of otherworldly novels. This book had a plot so unique that I found it hard to believe that the Island of Truson was a fable and the Ormans were nonexistent. The development was also beautiful both for the characters and the setting. I found the proximity of the island fascinating–-farthest on earth, yet a drive away from Alaska. This made me smile. The mix of modern technology and magic also lent some mystique to the storyline. Mandy and Ford were powerful characters, but Lex was formidable and my most favorite. His character raises a sensitive discussion about the discrimination against albinos. I hope we can do better as humans to embrace everyone’s uniqueness. Thank you, Dominique, for a beautiful book written in an expert style and easy to understand. Please write more books.
