Angel Park is the third book in The Park Trilogy by C.J. Booth, the story of a team of detectives and their assistant as they try to solve a mystery yet they find out that it is more complicated than they thought. Detectives Stan Wyld and Jake Steiner and their assistant Mallory Dimante were trying to find a missing person, a Hollywood movie producer, but when they found his remains in a car, they knew that things were not as they seemed. Along with the body of the producer, they found another body and a fingerprint that belonged to an 11-year-old girl named Anna Chase. Things were becoming more complicated as the days went by, with more people becoming a suspect in the case than they anticipated. They now have to worry about keeping a pair of sibling safe, trying to find out who killed the producer and trying to stay alive through it. What are they going to do now?

Although I have not read the previous novels in the series, I had no issues with getting invested in the story and just living in it with the characters. I can imagine how thrilling and entertaining the whole experience would have been if I had read the novel after reading the previous novels in the series. The narrative was exceptionally smooth, incredibly well-paced and amazingly crafted to be a solid story. I loved how the author so seamlessly took me right alongside Stan and Jake as they tried to figure this case out and find out what was happening around them. The mystery itself was splendidly crafted; the author ensured that nothing was amiss as he took me on a journey that I hoped would never end. This is an absolute entertainer! I loved this... simply loved this!
