Author Biography

Lana Lindemann, is a loving Nebraskan mother living in the suburbs. Married, with two children, Lana enjoys writing having been writing since she was a child, and playing online video games with her husband and friends. Lindemann was inspired to write by her grandparents, having been told a mix of dark fairy tales and make-believe that she grew to love and admire. Her dark, twisted but sometimes crudely humored stories reflect that. There are no white picket fences in Lindemann's world, but most love that about her work. In 2019 she won the award for best psychological thriller in American Fiction Awards, and later that year was awarded Gold for best Thriller in Dan Poynter's Global Ebook Awards. Covering that same year, she was respectfully awarded the title of finalist in Horror in the Best Book Awards. Lindemann's first book LYING WITH THE DEVIL topped the charts in Audible, making it a best seller on their newest releases list.
With a fondness for serial killers, Lana's storytelling has been expressed as deeply enthralling, and raw, and not one to disappoint.

Angel’s Grove, written by Lana Lindemann, is set during World War 2. It follows the journey of the main character Adelisa, who, along with her husband and two children, are forced out of their home. They get sent to Angel’s Grove where everything gets far worse than she could have ever imagined. Adelisa is separated from her family, but will she ever be reunited with them? And what will become of Adelisa?

I found Angel's Grove by Lana Lindemann to be a very descriptive story that sets each scene nicely. I liked that the book was set around the time of Hitler and I grew fond of the main character Adelisa. She goes through so much torment and pain for the sake of her children, and the love Adelisa has for them is beautiful. It makes her strong and able to get through any hardship she faces. I found myself gripped to every page wanting to know what happens next, and I wasn't disappointed. Each page is filled with action and perfectly written sentences to set each scene with dramatic effect.

This type of book isn't what I usually go for; however, once I read the synopsis, it had me intrigued and I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I chose Angel's Grove because Lana Lindemann is a brilliant writer who puts a lot of detail into the characters she creates. I would recommend buying a copy, even if you don't think it would be something you'd like. Trust me, it will surprise you and have you hooked to every page.
