Annabelle Goes to the Library is a children’s adventure book written by Abby Balson with illustrations by Vova Kirichenko. Annabelle is excited to go to the library! She is looking forward to choosing a book about some of her favorite things; princesses and heroes. While at the library, Annabelle’s mom and the librarian show Annabelle the various ways that she can search for and find the books that she is interested in. Annabelle has fun learning about how the library works as she sees the vast amount of books that are available for her to choose from. Delightful and vibrant illustrations enhance the upbeat and positive tone of Annabelle’s trip to the library. Annabelle Goes to the Library is a fantastic book to introduce young children to the library and all of the adventures and entertainment that await them there.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Annabelle Goes to the Library. Annabelle’s enthusiasm is contagious and will spark young readers' interest in going to the library to find books of their own. Libraries are an important part of communities and offer many wonderful opportunities that encourage children to read and learn.
