Armed and Alive: True Stories About Everyday People Whose Lives Were Saved by Legally Owned Guns by Antaeus is an interesting collection of stories revolving around guns and people. The stories are real, which makes them even more exciting and relatable. Each story is unique in its own way, although revolving around the same theme. The book gives legal information about guns to those who are planning to buy guns and also to gun owners. The stories will give readers in-depth knowledge about how to use a handgun to protect their family and themselves.

What makes the book an entertaining and enjoyable read is that the stories are simple; readers can identify with the situations and the characters are real. Each story shares some information related to handguns, whether it is a pistol or a revolver, depending on the circumstances. It removes a lot of fear from the minds of those readers who are scared to own a gun. The book will help you make a decision when it comes to owning a gun.

The author has done a great job in getting these stories together. Rifles and shotguns are also mentioned and the author also speaks about the different types of ammunition. The security steps to be safe at home are very useful tips. The author's Ten Rules and Tips on Gun Safety completes the topic wholly.
