Author Biography

Christin Bummer was diagnosed with hypertension and early insulin resistance at age 32, despite being active and otherwise healthy. It was a massive wake-up call to realize she was walking right down a well-worn path to a family medical history full of heart disease and diabetes. She adopted a whole food plant-based lifestyle, reclaimed her health, lost excess weight, and felt on top of the world! And a few years later she got pregnant and had some difficulties sticking with the plan.

A series of stressful life events pulled her back into old damaging habits, and she found herself really lost, knowing that she wanted to get back on track yet feeling completely unable to do it. Her journey of self-discovery led her to repeatable success, and she's dedicated her life to helping other women overcome similar battles with self-sabotage, insecurities, procrastination, and so much more.

She has a gift of helping people overcome challenges with the right attitude and the right skill-set. She brings her quick wit, straightforward explanations, and gentle nudging to her latest release, Baby Got Back In Her Pants: A Simple Plan to Thrive on a Plant-Based Diet, to deliver results where other programs fall short.

Christin created The Forever Diet coaching programs now reaching across the globe. She is a devoted wife, mom, and dog-mom, and when she's not writing or coaching you'll find her racing up and down the monkey bars with her daughter, hiking in the woods, or daydreaming about their next vacation.

Baby Got Back In Her Pants: A Simple Plan to Thrive on a Plant-Based Diet by Christin Bummer is much more than just a health and fitness book, it is actually a combination of various books. Indeed, it is first and foremost a guide, which makes you understand why you have not managed to keep your word when you wanted to lead a healthier life, or simply lose weight. It is a comprehensive and fun workbook to guide you further and help you make good decisions one step at a time, a guide to cooking healthier food, with recipe ideas that are neat and delicious (and so simple), a mentoring program (with a Facebook group I have already joined), a newsletter, numerous free bonuses (audiobook, workbook, recipes), and so much more!

Baby Got Back In Her Pants: A Simple Plan to Thrive on a Plant-Based Diet by Christin Bummer kept me up twice because (unlike such personal development books in general) I could not put it down! Christin is so encouraging, so welcoming and friendly that you just want to learn more about her, about her journey to a healthier and thus happier life, that you seek advice to launch on the same path. This book is engrossing and helps you figure out what prevented you from becoming vegan (for instance). I have been trying to stop eating dairy products for a while and this book has given me the impulse to really try again one baby step after another. To top it all, Christin is never judgmental and this type of book is exactly what most of us need. Thank you for such a treasure!

Baby Got Back in Her Pants by Christin Bummer is not a diet book; it is a new way of living, with lifestyle changes that will create a healthier new you. The author's own story is why she wrote this book. She takes her own experiences and lays out step by step instructions for you to follow to achieve what she is teaching. And there is a free workbook and other resources to download that will help you work through this plan. There is a wealth of information in this book for you to follow. The author makes sure it is all you need for a successful journey into plant-based foods.

Wow, what an amazing book! I like that Ms. Bummer is honest in saying that her plan, her menus and recipes, and other such instructions do not guarantee any success in anyone's life. In other words, it is YOU that determines whether you succeed or not by the decisions you make. I have been interested in plant-based foods, so I was excited to read this book. I am in awe of how eating this new way can change your life. From slowly working your way into new foods, meal by meal, to achieving your goal, this plan works. And yes, it is easy following Ms. Bummer's awesome plan, but as with any life change, it is not always easy to put into practice. But with Christin Bummer as your coach, she will gently and compassionately guide you through. If this is something you have been thinking about, I encourage you to check out Baby Got Back in Her Pants for an interesting life-changing journey you can succeed at.

Baby Got Back in Her Pants: A Simple Plan to Thrive on a Plant-Based Diet by Christin Bummer is a non-fiction motivational and self-help guide with the tools to transition into a new, healthier way of living. Bummer opens with the story of her father-in-law and how resistant he was to the changed lifestyle and subsequent transformations of her husband and herself and asks some difficult questions about what it is that a reader really wants in their lives. This is a fully immersive 30-day jump-start that provides a cleansing and nourishing routine for the mind, body, and soul. It is interspersed with sections for journaling, photos, and profoundly honest highlights of happy clients, the science behind the plan, and, of course, the plan with recipes and motivation to see even a skeptic through.

Christin Bummer does a wonderful job in delivering a message she is passionate about in Baby Got Back in Her Pants. I appreciate that all of the basics are covered for those like me who are a bit, er, green on the topic, but it's thorough enough that those who are here for a refresher, a recharge, or just something new will not find it patronizing. I loved the client highlights. My goodness, those transformations are incredible and so are their backstories. I personally related to Lindsay and her active lifestyle and interests, but difficulty understanding how to go plant-based properly without being bored. I took a stab at Bummer's Jackpot Jackfruit Chili and my husband had no idea he'd just enjoyed a vegan meal. This is an excellent launchpad for readers who are curious about a healthier lifestyle and enjoy a narrative that feels more like a chat than a lesson.

Life changing

This is a holistic program that has been life changing for me! I am so glad I found this book!
