She is a passionate writer and trained video journalist, holds a BA and MBA, and is the recipient of two distinguished academic awards in the field of media and communications.

She is a public speaker and trainer for personal change and supports charitable initiatives that empower women and youth.

Back to Loving Me: Reclaiming Your Authentic Self by Lourita Lue-Shing is an uplifting book which encourages readers to let go of their past, accept what they are now, and grow into who they want to be in the future. The eight principles of personal responsibility, self-love, positive self-image, inner peace, community, healthy boundaries, self-reliance, and assertiveness are discussed through the book. The reference materials and personal growth exercises shared by the author are helpful and work as a tool to self-improvement. Based on universal principles, the contents of the book are applicable to anyone who wants to make a positive transformation in their lives.

I found the author's words profound and insightful and her views encourage readers to love every bit of life's journey and also appreciate one's authentic self with gratitude, honor and love. The eight principles are useful in readers becoming more aware of their selves and staying motivated in life. The self-empowerment test gives an idea on the type of person one is and, accordingly, one can find tips and techniques in the book to make the required changes.
