Begotten by Sudin Daniel takes readers on an insightful and engaging journey through the life of Christ where there are no Christians and non-Christians but just Christ and the rest of the people. The book is a good manual to make readers realize the greatness of Christ, and how his teaching is based on just love. The author explains the importance of faith and hope and encourages readers to practice perseverance, forgiveness, patience, and other virtues, which are required in modern times when there is so much chaos and confusion in everybody's lives. The genuineness and credibility of Christ's teachings and the author's attempts in making the Bible not just a book of teaching but a habit and a way of life are helpful to readers in facing challenges and adversities.

I like the way Sudin Daniel tackles the topic by making it simple and easily accessible to readers to comprehend his views. Readers will realize their vulnerability, fallibility, and interdependence. The insights in the book will encourage readers to strive to become the light whenever possible and give out whatever light they have in them to ward off the darkness. There are a lot of interesting stories shared by the author that will help readers introspect on the central theme of the book; that Jesus is love and love is Jesus. Begotten is good to use in Bible classes or Bible study where readers get to understand how love made the heavens and the earth, which was all that was required for humans to survive and flourish.
