Being with Becky by Lisa Binkowski is the true story of two sisters from Ohio. We follow the story of their life. Sadly though, Becky is killed and Lisa must try to come to terms with the loss. The sisters were bonded so tightly that it is a deep struggle for Lisa to cope. She is crippled by grief and nothing makes sense in her world anymore, but Lisa struggles on and works to pick up the shattered pieces of her life. Lisa wants to honor her sister Becky and be the hero Becky always saw.

This is an amazing story about sisterly love, and what one has to do when we have grief stacked upon us. Even though my sister and I aren't close I can't imagine losing her; for Lisa who was so bonded with Becky, I just can't imagine. The grief and loss come through the pages so clearly, it made me cry. However, Lisa doesn't give up and that is inspirational. Struggling to find life again, and then taking the time to write this book and share Becky with the world, and sharing the struggle of grief too.

Lisa Binkowski has done a fantastic job telling this life story and I thank her for sharing it. Anyone who has felt the pain of losing someone they love should read this book; it may help in finding a path to healing. We can never have those we have lost come back, but we can remember them and remember that it is okay to go on with life.
