Emma Daniels has written another fantastic romantic story. The characters Angela Summers and Vince Black engage in a tumultuous relationship of hate and love when they meet at work. Vince Black seemed to be a bit aloof for Angie, but because of the duties of her job she comes face to face with Vince in a glaring confrontation in which Vince sees her as intriguing and their relationship blossoms to love. Vince is confronted with a tragedy within his family and Angie feels she must be there for him to make certain he doesn't feel alone. But will Vince's feelings of a past love relationship become a hindrance to Angela? It seems as if Angela is experiencing a life changing event in which she says things to Vince that could end their relationship forever. But is that enough to make Vince leave for good, especially when he knows that Angela has what he really wants for their future together.

This romance story was a good read. I enjoyed the story from the beginning to the end. The characters are well delineated. However, I did become annoyed with the character Angela, in her constant negative thoughts of insecurity. She seemed to want Vince to become the man in her dreams, but when he was just being a guy, she behaved as a spoiled obnoxious child. Angela was indeed a career woman and was willing to use her strength from within to make things happen.
