Author Biography

I've always enjoyed a rousing thriller. In Bolt I wanted to create not only a contemporary thriller replete with shocking plot twists and breakneck action but also a novel that captures the zeitgeist.

Bolt by Bryan Cassiday is a novel composed of thrills, mystery, excitement and more thrill. Deirdre suspects her husband, Hollywood talent manager Lyndon Fox, of infidelity and hires a private detective to find out. When this detective is assassinated, she hires LA private detective Scott Brody not only to investigate her husband but also to find the stalker that's been shadowing her since the suspicious death of her first PI. Meanwhile, a hitman from Italy flies to the US to complete an assignment and an FBI agent becomes obsessed with a deep-state conspiracy. When the paths of these interesting characters merge together, all hell will break loose.

Fast-paced and intriguing, Bryan Cassiday's Bolt is the type of novel that demands to be read in one sitting. A suspicious wife, a Hollywood power broker, a dangerous assassin, a persistent private detective, a secretive FBI agent and a perverted cartel boss are some of the most interesting characters that come to life in this story. The plot is perfectly flawless and takes a number of twists and turns akin to a roller coaster ride. Set mostly in Los Angeles, California, it gives us a good look at the dark side of this interesting city. Bryan Cassiday knows how to keep his readers interested up to the finale with an ending that is as unexpected as it is fascinating. Bolt is a novel that lingers in the reader's mind long after the last page is turned!
