Bounty of the Everdark by Lilian Oake is a stunning fantasy read about a dark elf named Lorel. One day, Lorel hears other dark elves talking with a human, making a plan to kidnap the queen. Lorel can't let that happen. It would wreck any chances of humans collaborating with dark elves. So Lorel tells the queen that it's too dangerous for her to continue through the Everdark. But no one believes her, they were too focused on their hatred toward her kind. If Lorel is going to save the queen, she needs to make everyone look past their hatred and trust her. Can she do that?
I really enjoyed Bounty of the Everdark by Lilian Oake. The plot is fast-paced and exciting. I was hooked by the first page and I couldn't put the book down. I really enjoyed reading Bounty of the Everdark, because it had magical creatures, evil villains, and determined young heroes. The book shows that it isn't fair to judge one person by the actions of others of their kind. Lorel is an extremely likeable character, because she is smart, brave, and determined. The story is well written and descriptive, and very well developed and imaginative. The author introduces the reader to a beautiful magical world that they'll never want to leave. The many action scenes will keep the reader on the edge of their seat. I would recommend Bounty of the Everdark by Lilian Oake to fantasy fans.
