Bruce and the Road to Justice by Gale Leach is the series of Bruce and his adventures. In this book, we see Stang looking for revenge against Bruce after Bruce defeated him. Stang starts to harm Bruce's friends and Bruce decides that it is time to stop Stang's wickedness. Milton, the jumping spider, is his first target. Bruce has to stay alive to see to it that his friends are saved and safe. But then Bruce finds out that it is not an easy task. All the books in this series are well written with an educational theme and we see justice being meted out in the end which makes the story's theme motivating to readers.

Bruce's adventures sees readers going through different experiences. It shows us the courage and inner strength Bruce has in handling and solving problems. All the books in this series give powerful messages to children. The fragility of Bruce does not stop him helping his friends during their difficult times. The importance of helping and friendships form the theme. The author has put across the message in a convincing manner. The book instills in children a helping mentality toward their friends and others.

Milton the spider and Bruce the butterfly steal the hearts of readers. I keep wondering what the next adventure will be like. Conrad, Henry, Carla, Grandpa Walter, and Agatha add to the book's appeal with their antics. Stang has been portrayed so well that we end up hating him. An enjoyable story. I am waiting to read more from this author. Very innovative and highly imaginative narration.
