Born in Ottawa and raised in Cornwall, Ontario, G. P. Gadbois is Canadian. She is a wife, a mother of three, a grandmother, and works full time. She started writing a weekly column published in the French newspaper of her hometown during her last year of high school and loved it. She also enjoys walking, gardening, curling, reading, and babysitting Arrow.
Her first novel Caught Between Worlds, A Moment in Time Novel One was first published by Roane Publishing in 2016. Then, Trust Me, the second novel in the series was published in May 2018. When the publisher closed their doors, G.P. Gadbois made minor edits to both novels and released them on KDP-Amazon in November and December 2018.
She is presently working on Destiny, novel three in the series A Moment in Time. Her New Year resolution for 2019 is to finish and publish the third book during said year.

It was meant to be a girls' holiday. A non-stop enjoyment-packed vacation. Unfortunately, the car had other plans. Broken down in the middle of nowhere seemed like the start of a horror movie, and in some respects their instincts were right. While Gabrielle and her friends attract the attention of the locals, something else is also watching them; a ghost. A young boy seems to appear everywhere, but it is only when Gabby learns of the local legend that she begins to fear for her life. Fortunately, she is not alone. She and the girls have made some new friends. But can her new love interest, Rick, keep her safe, or will the ghost once more claim another victim?

Caught Between Worlds is the first book in G. P. Gadbois' A Moment in Time series. It is a romance filled with supernatural elements and a story of love and friendship, suspicious deaths and mystery. Gabrielle, Suzanne, Julie, and Wendy have a great relationship. I loved the instant attraction between Gabby and Rick, and Bill and Sue, and the building of trust driven by unusual circumstances. The injection of humor adds a great spin to events, as well as presenting a Bridget Jones style 'aww' factor. I enjoyed following the story and watching the investigation into the ghost story develop and produce leads. There is more than one surprise in store for the reader in this wonderfully-paced novel. Love, romance, and humor combine with supernatural events and suspicious deaths to create this sweet and gripping romance.

I really loved the story and characters. Four girlfriends from Canada are on a week long vacation to the states and become stranded in a small town after their car breaks down. The camaraderie between the girls is great and the dialogue entertaining and realistic. Gabrielle also has great chemistry with Rick, the local deputy and her new love interest. This is not a scary, keep-you-up-at-night type of paranormal mystery. The supernatural aspects of the story tend to create intrigue rather than fear. Highly recommend!
