Tiki the Turtle is confused one evening as he watches the sun disappear. His curiosity takes him on an exciting journey over mountains, sea, and land. Tiki meets some interesting animals on his travels, including monkeys, pelicans, and dolphins, but none of them can answer his question. Where has the sun gone? Not even the clever snail knows for sure. Tiki arrives home after his amazing adventure, and he has some wonderful memories that he will never forget. A perfect story for any child between 3-7 years of age with an inquisitive mind and an adventurous spirit. The colourful illustrations and rhyming style add to this wonderfully charming story.
Chasing The Sun by Mike Masserman, Oren Masserman, and Tal Masserman is a delightfully well-written story that is a perfect bedtime read for small children. It has a great message behind the story, which is that everything in nature is beautiful and you should enjoy travel and new experiences. The illustrations are so beautifully drawn and will help children with their observational skills. A great adventure story that children can read along with and memorize because of the cleverly constructed rhyming format. I love the characters and the way the author described the scenery; it is brought to life in a way that children can appreciate. This book will teach children that there are wonders in nature that they can enjoy. It is also an excellent book to teach children to be adventurous and inquisitive about the wonders of the world. A perfect gift for any little explorer.
