Author Biography

Addicted to many things & happily recovering.

English born. After travelling around Europe with a backpack I started a career in I.T. gripped with the industry as a passionate workaholic.

The fast unhealthy lifestyle when running a business fuelled drinking and smoking which eventually caught up.
A disabling spine condition made it difficult to walk forcing me to spend many years officially disabled on crutches attending endless medical appointments.

Obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, close to diabetes type II, difficulty walking with bones causing pain in the feet, both shoulders no longer moved fully causing acute pain.
Physical Pain every day sleep apnea, tinnitus was normal.

Life got better after giving up smoking and drinking in 2000 using a 12 step recovery program.

Diagnosed with cancer was a shock.
All the above illness have now gone. I changed to an 80% natural organic foods lifestyle with purified water. Plus surgical operations to correct painful bones on both shoulders, two foot operations removing a bunion and nose to improve breathing.

This high natural nutrition transformed my lifestyle since 2013 whilst losing 22 kilos in 6 months saying goodbye to obesity.

My mum Valerie aged 94 recovered from terminal gangrene avoiding a leg amputation and recovering completely from diabetes type II following the similar high nutrition lifestyle.

Whilst in Malta 2013 I was gratefully inspired by understanding how I had become addicted to artificial chemicals in processed food and drinks. I came up with two new words to describe this medical condition. Chemicalism and Chemaholic to give out a simple understanding to other suffering people wanting to recover. The first website started 2012 www.chemicalism.org.
Documenting my progress turned into a book and published 30 Jul 2016.
Chemicalism: I am a Chemaholic: 12 steps to being free from addiction to artificial chemicals used in processed food and drinks

This true story is both a testimonial with the doctors medical notes extract included and a plan that has worked for many people to become unbelievably healthier.

I believe there are lots of natural solutions to become well again even when doctors and consultants have said it is not possible just be determined to find the freedom.

By sharing something good I believe life naturally attracts more happy positive experiences.

There are so many chemicals in our food and drinks that many of us are sick and tired. Tap water can contain plastics, weed killers, pharmaceuticals, heavy metals and other toxins. Even bottled water, if it does not say “spring water” or “purified water,” is simply tap water bottled for convenience. This alone can have terrible effects on your body. Your organs are designed to purify what is in your body, and excrete the toxins, but they can become overloaded and diseased. Why not put in only the best?

Simon Kadwill-Kelly has done an amazing thing. He has put together a healthy eating and lifestyle plan, simply enough that anyone can follow it, but still with enough detail and new information that I, a certified Nutrition Consultant, learned several things. For instance, I knew that food can be addictive. But I had no idea that filling up with nutritious food and pure water, and never taking a bite of chocolate, or a cookie, or a drink of tap water, would give you so much energy. And I didn’t know that it can take weeks for your body to get used to the healthy changes, during which time you may feel like you have a cold, are tired, or even experience skin eruptions and bowel movement changes. Never fear; according to Simon you will one day have energy to burn! He himself had severe sciatica (back pain) for ten years, and when he had recovered through this plan he went for an ambitious bicycle ride and still had energy when he got to his destination, so he went even further.

Chemicalism by Simon Kadwill-Kelly is a book for anyone who would like more energy or to heal themselves, and has tried diets, exercise, and pills. He lost 3-1/2 stone (about 50 pounds) using healthy, natural foods and pure water. This is not a guarantee of results, but it makes so much sense. I am excited to try it and buy a better water purifier too because Kadwill-Kelly says you must even use purified water for making tea and boiling food. I have tried many things in the past myself, and am healthier than I used to be, but I would like to feel better. This is easy for me because I know how to cook, so I hope to have great results.
