Who doesn’t love the rich heritage and especially the succulent food of Italy? In Clemenza's Meatball Sunday Sauce by Daniel B. Bellino, your mouth will water as you work through the recipes and begin to savor the flavor of each of them, even if only in the mind. The cultural flavor that Bellino adds to the book as he works through each of the sauces and explains a little bit about their origins and when and how they are traditionally served gives an added taste of the savory treat that we all enjoy. The fascination with mobsters and the mafia from film and television are a common part of American culture and Bellino helps the reader enjoy that as well as the delicious recipes that he presents in this book. Peter Clemenza, Michael Corleone, Johnnie Dio and Big Paulie all come alive within the recipes and stories that are mixed throughout.

Readers will imagine themselves sitting at the table of a huge family dinner, with all of the love and laughter of the Corleones as they enjoy the delectable Italian dishes. Daniel B. Bellino keeps not only your taste buds stirring, but also your quizzical imagination as you immerse yourself in this fantastic cookbook.
