Closed Hearts by Regina Puckett is a Regency romance that will sweep you off your feet and make you fall in love with the characters over and over again. Lady Grace has her secrets and she is determined to keep each and every one of them safe until the very end. For example, she is not a seamstress from France but she pretends to be Mademoiselle Blancher. She has escaped a fate that she wouldn’t wish on her worst enemies, and she also talks to the dead, but no one must know about this. So when she receives a letter from her beloved cousin asking for her help, Grace has no option but to pack her bags and get back to London. The only issue is she needs the help of a man who will at least be willing to listen to her. Viscount Worthington seems to be keen to help, but can he handle all the secrets that she is withholding?

This is a fast-paced, incredibly funny and entertaining novel. With paranormal elements to add depth to the story, the author has done justice to bring the best elements of the story into focus and make readers fall in love with it. I loved Lady Grace; she is a character that makes a place in your heart and stays there forever. She is feisty, resilient and simply a charming woman who knows how to get what she wants. She is not a damsel in distress; she understands her circumstances and she makes the decisions that are best for her. Robert is her perfect match; they click and make their relationship work. This is a truly entertaining, wholesome and exceptionally well-crafted historical romance!
