Confessions of a Nerdy Girl: Top Secret (Diary #1) by Linda Rey is an amazing book that follows a young girl named Willa as she writes in her diary. She was adopted when she was younger, and her sister is mean to her. She has an incredible memory, and can remember every day of her life since she was little more than a year old. Her father has just announced that they're moving from Chicago to California, and she isn't thrilled about the move. She has trouble making friends (she only has two), and isn't excited about having to make new ones. The book follows her struggles with her memory, her family, their move, and her OCD.

I really enjoyed reading Confessions of a Nerdy Girl: Top Secret (Diary #1) by Linda Rey. The book is very well written and descriptive. I loved that the book has little doodles in it, just like a real diary would. Many readers will be able to relate to Willa, because many people have been through what she has been through. The book has some funny parts that will make the reader laugh out loud. I was hooked by the first page, and I never wanted to put the book down. This story will keep the reader glued to their seat, wanting to know what will happen to Willa next. The characters are incredibly likeable, because they're kind and funny. The story is thrilling from cover to cover. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
