One fateful cold and rainy afternoon, eighteen year old Ali O’Canohagn’s life was altered by fate. Never in a million years would Ali have dreamed or believed that just a simple errand for her mother would thrust her into a world that she didn’t think was even plausible. After being attacked by a powerful malevolent immortal named Ronan, Ali is abducted by another frightening but very handsome stranger named Traecyn Broadie. Ali's world is turned upside down as she plays a game of cat and mouse to stay alive, and unwittingly, finds herself forging a bond with Broadie and falling in love. Her life is now a tangled web of lies, deceit, and old ancestral secrets. Ali O’Conohagn must accept her fate and destiny as war looms between the immortals. After being told that she is the last one in the Kerkinson line with enough strength to help rid their world of the evil malevolent immortals that will stop at nothing to obtain absolute power, Ali must risk everything to help balance the forces of the immortals.

I enjoyed reading Kayci Reid’s book "Convergence". The storyline had just enough conflict, deceit and intrigue. I felt that her characters were all very believable as well as multifaceted. I liked how Kaycie Reid had her characters playing off one another with all of their secrets and lies, and that in turn led to the ultimate betrayal. The plot was well-developed, and the writing style made the story even more interesting and a lot of fun to read.
