“Dadspirations: The First 100 Days of Fatherhood”, by Pete Densmore, is a humorous and informative adventure for fathers as they celebrate the first 100 days after a child is born. Pete takes a new dad from day one, all of the way to day 100. He not only helps a father understand different levels of development of the new born, but helps the dad to create memories that he and his child can enjoy in the years to come. His book helps a father learn how to bond with his new child, as well as, figure out how to give mom a little jump start as well. His "Dadspirations" projects give the new father a creative outlet and specific activities that will help make that first 100 days special for mom, dad and baby. In a nutshell, Pete shows the reader how to go beyond what is expected in order to welcome the new addition to the family with joy, passion and love, while establishing an attitude for the future.

Pete Densmore’s “Dadspirations: The First 100 Days of Fatherhood" is lighthearted and well-organized. The suggested activities are both creative and a proactive means of helping a father to bond with his new child. His light humor is directed at guys and the way they think and it helps to make the book flow easily and read quickly. The layout and organization also make the book a quick reference or guidebook that can be easily accessed throughout the first 100 days. All in all, this is an excellent resource for a new dad having his first child, or for a dad who really wants to get on the ball with his second or third child. It is a great read, has great suggestions, and a great addition to your parenting bookshelf.

Pete Densmore in his book, Dadspirations: The First 100 Days of Fatherhood, writes a wonderful piece of work, detailing how a father can make a difference in their newborn son or daughter life; as well as how their memories can be preserved for many years to come. Pete helps the reader see that things must be captured as soon as possible as most people will forget the exact details of those events within the life of their newborn baby. Through pictures, artwork, video, etc., things can be stored for many years to come. There are many more ways to be creative found within the book.

When reading Dadspirations: The First 100 Days of Fatherhood, the reader will better grasp the need for creating those early bonding moments within the life of both child and adult. Both child and parent have to give of themselves on a daily basis in order to reap that which they have sown. Some of the implanting ideals found within the book are to write a letter to the child explaining what the parent feels about this newborn life. Maybe it's framing a picture to hang at work, supporting them in various sports, school, and church events and/or pushing them out of the nest so they will truly learn to fly without total support of their parent.
