Jan Ford grew up in New Jersey in a multinational, multiracial neighborhood. She has spent her life trying to share Unity Moments. If you are not familiar with Unity Moments, you need to read Dancing with Unity: Transcending Racism Globally by Jan Ford. She shares her life experiences of unity. There is too much in this world that keeps us apart from those who are not “us.” Jan wants to change that so that we are all “us.” Human beings are all the same beneath the skin. If you would take the time to reach out to those who are different from you, you will find out they are not so different. We are more alike than different. Jan shares her world travels and interaction with people of different cultures, colors, nationalities, etc. She learned that when we open the channels of communication, we will find out that we share hopes, dreams, desires, etc.

I grew up in the Deep South (Georgia) in the 1950s and ‘60s. I saw discrimination based solely on people looking different from others. I could not understand why there were “White Only” and “Colored Only” water fountains in stores. I actually got in trouble one day for drinking from a “Colored Only” water fountain. The water tasted the same. From that time on, I could not understand the distinction between the races. Much progress has been made, but Jan Ford has blazed a new path in Dancing with Unity. She invites everyone to join her in her quest to bring unity to the people of this world. Reading this book will open your eyes to how much we all have in common. You will also enjoy reading about Jan’s adventures in Europe and Africa. When you see the inter-racial kindness shared with Jan, you will be thrilled. God is using Jan to bring about unity one person at a time. Join her quest.
