In this day and age, it would be hard for anyone to not know of Davy Crockett and the battle at the Alamo.

Given a school assignment to be completed over the weekend, Addie, Dylan, and Braden think of better things they wanted to do then to be working on a school paper. The teacher was going to let them work in pairs, so what better three to work together?

Headed to San Antonio the next day with Addie’s mother, the three figure they can get some information at the Alamo while the mother shops. With that, the adventure begins.

Finding an old cabin, curiosity gets the best of them, and as they enter, the door slams shut. They are locked in. What’s that they see in the corner?

Travel along as they go back in time to Tennessee with Davy Crockett as their guide. Is it a ghost, or is it all a dream? Did they really see Davy Crockett?

This is an excellent book for a child from the 4th grade to learn not only about the history of the Alamo but also about the men who help to shape our nation.
