It started as any other normal day for Saul Becker, until something happened that would change his life forever. It started with an innocent Jane Doe found hiding in a tree, a woman with no name and no memory. Little did he know that trying to find out who this woman was, would begin a chain of events that would risk both their lives. Will Jane find out who she is? Will she survive once she does? S.D. O’Donnell has done a great job in "Deadly Memories".

This book begins with a woman found hiding in a tree, an innocent beginning, and the story takes a few chapters to get into its stride. Many seeds are sown in the early chapters that come together in a very clever and innovative way. It isn’t until you are a long way into the story that you start to question the events and facts that have presented themselves. The characters are cleverly created and the relationships between them seem very natural and not forced or mismatched. There are nice mini cliff hangers at the end of each chapter that make you want to read just one more chapter. There is a subtle dark undertone which runs through from early on, and you aren't entirely sure, until the end, who it is directed to or why.
Overall, the book is beautifully put together with well-rounded characters and a nice twist at the end. Really, this book is well worth a read.
