Artsun Akopyan's Dialogues in English at Home is a handbook for non-native English speakers who want to learn this language in an easy way. It presents ninety-four short dialogues based on the most common situations you encounter in your domestic life. The topics are varied and include activities you do on a typical day, starting with "Getting Up in the Morning" and ending with "In the Evening." Dialogues in English at Home allows readers to develop their reading and listening skills, memorize new words, and translate them into their native language. Moreover, audio recordings of each dialogue are available online.

Dialogues in English at Home is a great book for people to start learning the English language. It presents them with familiar situations and makes it possible to study basic vocabulary. I especially like the practical approach of this book. Akopyan helps his readers/students to develop all the skills they need to become good English speakers. I appreciate that audio recordings are available online. It happens so often that learners neglect to improve their listening skills, but there is no way to make this mistake here. I also like the essential layout of Dialogues in English at Home because it does not distract readers from their study. On the contrary, the lack of elaborate images (except for those at the beginning of each chapter) allows them to focus on the text. On the whole, Dialogues in English at Home is a valuable resource. I recommend it to every beginner who wants to learn English the right way.
