Dirty Laundry: Not Everything is What it Seems by Cori Nevruz is a fast-paced psychological thriller. Samantha’s husband expected a lot of her. He wanted his house kept nice, meals on the table, and he wanted her to be presentable. When children came along, it just added to everything she had to do but when they moved to a better neighborhood, she thought things would be different. She made a friend, someone she could talk to about her struggles, but this might not be the perfect life she thought it would be. Insecurity and jealousy are messing with her mind and confiding her family’s dirty laundry to a stranger might not be her best plan. Samantha’s husband is controlling and prefers to keep his life private. Has Samantha made a huge mistake? Is she and her new friend in danger? And how far is Samantha willing to go to hang on to the life of her dreams?

Dirty Laundry: Not Everything is What it Seems by Cori Nevruz is a thrilling tale of jealousy, control, and perfect dreams. It’s a fun yet intense read, an edge-of-your-seat thriller with a little humor thrown in to lighten the darkness. It describes a disturbing relationship between two people that is firmly in the realm of being toxic and Ms. Nevruz has described it in a way that makes you shiver. This story is far from straightforward, with plenty of twists and turns in a unique plot that keeps you interested and firmly invested in the outcome. This is not one of those stories where you can guess the ending early on; it’s packed with suspense and it keeps you reading as you delve into what should be a beautiful, perfect life – with all its dirty laundry on show for all. Great story, highly recommended author.
