Children like colors and pictures, and are instantly attracted to colorful books with attractive illustrations. The author teaches children about pets very skilfully and tastefully. For example, children generally love dogs and they consider dogs to be their friends. The author uses the dog as the tool to educate. The author also subtly introduces the child to many new things. This is done playfully and in a delightful manner, making it interesting for the child. The pictures make it easy for a child to think and guess the right answer.
This book can be used by teachers and parents to read out aloud to their children. The activities at the end of the book are also very interesting and educational for a child. The activities also require the child to draw, giving visual stimulation. This is an ideal book to introduce children into the world of reading and understanding.
