In this book we meet Jordan Bliss. She is in Venezuela to adopt a child she has grown to love. When she and the child are caught in a rebellion, Navy Seals come to her rescue. Soloman forces her on to the plane leaving Miguel behind. Jordan fights him with all her strength to bring Miguel with her. It rips Solomon’s heart to watch Jordan’s anguish. He understands her since of loss. His wife left him taking their son with her; he has no idea where they are. Jordan and Solomon join together to save Miguel.

I could not put this book down. I stayed up all night reading. This is a complex love story. There are a few things I would like to mention. There needed to be more character development and maybe a few less characters. This book is action packed. I can hardly wait to see what Melton has in store for us next.

Jordan Bliss has traveled to Venezuela in order to adopt a child. When she sees four-year-old Miguel, he quickly grabs her heart. But when chaos erupts from a government coup, she finds herself being extracted by Navy Seals against her will, leaving Miguel behind as he is not a US citizen. Navy Seal Solomon McGuire can't get the picture of Jordan out of his mind after her took Miguel from her arms and forced her on the helicopter. Solomon's own son was stolen from him by his ex-wife so he knows the pain it brings. That's why he finds himself determined to help her get her son back. Both Jordan and Solomon have had their hearts trampled by their ex-spouses but they find themselves unable to stop from falling in love. But when Jordan's quest to retrieve Miguel from Venezuela puts Jordan into danger, can Solomon get to her in time to save the woman who has given him a second chance at love?

Marliss Melton has done it again! Don't Let Go is an action-packed romance that keeps the reader immersed in Solomon and Jordan, unwilling to put the book down. Add to this a tremendous secondary story involving Jordan's sister and the hint of the another story to come. Without a doubt Marliss Melton's Navy Seals are not to be missed!

I enjoy all of her books and have read all of the previous books in this series. While this book was good and I enjoyed it, there were so many secondary stories going on that it distracted from the main characters in the book. I would have liked for the book to have spent more time on the two main individuals in the book and not as much time on the secondary stories. That being said I did enjoy the book and if you are a fan of hers and this series then you will want to read Don't Let go.

This book was a good book. I enjoyed it because of the action in it. Good plot and chararter building from others in seris.

THIS BOOK AS ALL OF MARLISS MELTON'S BOOK THAT I HAVE READ. I ALWAYS WANT TO GET TO THE END TO SEE HOW IT WILL END BUT I AM SORRY THAT IT ENDS.

As with some of her first books I hope she is planning on reusing the characters. It seems to me that although she had a lot going on in this book she was trying to introduce many new characters so that her next stories had a jumping off place. I agree with some of the people that she could have spent more time developing some of the people, especially the two main ones as they will not probably feature again in as major players in any other book that follows. Since she plans on writing around some of the ones that she created in this novel I think we will have a better connection with the next novels. Even with as much as she tries to pack into this novel it is well worth the read. For one, it will make the next novels more meaningful, and two it is plainy just well written. I recommend picking it up and giving it your time if you have enjoyed her books in the past. If this is the first book you have read of hers it might be worth the effort to go back to the first set of novels and read them while we all wait for the next one to come out.

but I quickly read all of the books. I really enjoy her writing style and her ability to tell a story. This book was great, although not my favorite of the series. I was completely engrossed in the story from the first page. I would have liked to see more character development in the book and if TSTL (as used by another reviewer) stands for too stupid to live, I agree completely. Heroines constantly needing to be saved by the heroes because they're doing something way out of their league is a pet peeve of mine. However, she was a sympathetic character and the story kept me involved. I've enjoyed the whole series. If you're new to the series I say, start at the beginning. If you're all caught up, you'll enjoy this one.

This book grabbed me from page 1! I carried this book in my purse so every free chance I had I would finish it.
The tension between these characters jumps off the page. I didn't want it to end.
Bravo! Great Read.

I love Suzanne Brockmann, but Marliss Melton is my new favorite author. Each book in her Seal series has impressed me, but this last one was incredible. Her intertwining plots, character development, and action had me making this a two-day read. I did not want to put it down! I can't wait until the next installment about Harlan. I highly recommend this series.

I've read all of her Navy Seal books and this is by far the best. The fast moving action, sassy characters and heartwarming storyline make this a must read.

Jordan Bliss went to Venezuela for the summer to teach
orphan children how to read. While she was there, she
fell in love with an orphan child named Miguel. She's in
the process of adopting Miguel. A new government has
taken over the country and it is taking longer for her
to take the child out of the country!

When Jordan didn't return home, her sister Jillian back
in Virginia called a friend Rafe, from the FBI to help.
Navy SEAL Solomon McGuire went on a mission with
several other SEAL's to rescue Jordan. Jordan was
kicking and screaming when Solomon picked her up and
threw her into the helicopter. She didn't want to leave
her son behind, but Solomon's orders were to bring Jordan
back, not her son.

Jordan is concern that in a few weeks or months the
populists might run the government again. They had
outlawed foreign adoption. Jordan began making plans
to return to Venezuela to retrieve her son. She called
the agency in Venezuela handling her adoption and
learned Miguel's dossier was approved.

Jordan received a letter from Father Benedict, advising
her that it is not safe for her to return to Ayacucho to
pick up her son. The British consulate in Ayacucho was
being evacuated. The populist Army had seized most of
the Amazonas region by force and was expected to
march upon the city today.

Marliss Melton is probably one of my favorite authors. The
first book on the Navy Seals was Forget Me Not. Then on,
I was hooked on the series. I am disappointed in Don't Let Go,
the fifth book in series. It's not as good as Marliss Melton's
previous Navy SEAL's novel. There were too many characters
and she was jumping around introducing her next characters in
her next book in the series. I wish, she had stayed focused on
the main characters and developed their relationship. I think,
this book had the potential to be a 5 Star, but fell short.
