Lady Katerina, heir to the throne of  Latharian, is the one to fulfill the prophecy predicted many years earlier and defeat the Black Magic.  When she is betrayed, her own dragonstone turns black. As she disowns her stone, she now becomes powerless.

After a three-year absence, she has returned to claim her crown only to discover  there are  forces to be reckoned with. She has now has a personal guard, but who is he really?  Can he be trusted? Logan has secrets he keeps hidden. With Katerina’s life in danger, is Logan a protector or betrayer? Unless the prophecy is fulfilled and the truth revealed, Latharia will be destroyed.

A fantasy has to be a good read to get my attention.  Dragonstone is just that.  Michele Young  takes the reader into a land of dragons, elves, trolls, and   giants.  The characters are so lively that you can’t help but become connected with them. There is just enough suspense to keep you turning the pages to see what the outcome is. A sequel would top this off.

If your looking for a book that appeals to all, this is your book. The author combines a great love story, adventure, suspense, and a aurprise twist. It was so exciting by the end I couldn't put it down and I can't wait to read the sequel. My husband thought it was great also. I highly recommend this book by new author.
