Dress Up Day by Tina Marie Kaht is a delightful storybook that will enchant young readers as it teaches them to dress up in different costumes as different people. The book commences with the mother waking up her daughter, telling her it is 'dress up day.' She tells her daughter that they can imagine what or whoever they want to be and dress up that way. We see the girl dressing up as a princess, pilot, farmer, fireman and many more. They not only dress up, but also try doing what these people do in their work places. It's an imaginative book with lots of action, adventure and excitement.

The illustrations in the book are bright and colorful and complement the words beautifully, giving a good pace and movement to the story and the characters. The short text pieces that come along with the roles are simple and easy to comprehend. The book introduces kids to the different types of professions they can choose when they grow up. Kids love to dress up and this book helps them discover new rules and the fun of dressing up accordingly. It's a good bedtime storybook and can be used for interactive sessions in classrooms.

It's a lovely book for children and worth having in one's personal collection if you have small kids at home. It is the type of story that will tap into a child's creative mind and imagination and make them dream and try out new things. A charming storybook for kids that will capture their imaginations with words, thoughts and colors.
