Author Biography

The Sci-Fi Action-Comedy novel is based on Albert Einstein's true scientific legacy: his ground-breaking (but hardly known) discovery that simple, beautiful LOCAL SYMMETRY (harmony, balance) is the cosmos' primary feature. This revolutionary scientific finding has huge ramifications, as Local Symmetry underpins all of our reality, i.e., the entire universe. The inspiration for the fast-paced and fun novel came out of the realization that a profound understanding of Local Symmetry can enable humanity to better organize as an eco-intelligent, fair and prosperous society, thereby empowering all its members to produce MORE GOOD, i.e., positive effects for people and planet. The novel contains a 2nd part with background information and sheet music to the novel's pop songs.

Einstein Superstar Code is a work of fiction in the science fiction, adventure, and history subgenres. The work is suitable for young adult readers as well as the mature end of the middle-grade reading audience and was penned by author George Hohbach. In the author’s trademark style, the novel is delivered in two parts, with a fascinating adventure story taking center stage as our two teenage protagonists battle an evil AI, with the help of a peculiar alien being and the U.S. President. The key to winning the battle lies in the works of the incredible Albert Einstein, whose marvelous career is explained in greater detail in the educational second part of the book.

Having read some works by author George Hohbach before, I was intrigued to see how he would marry up the concepts and works of Einstein with a slick modern adventure story about AI and the destructive path that our planet seems to be currently stuck on, and I was thrilled by the results. Zac and Elli are fantastically well-developed characters, whose dialogue is relatable for YA readers and keeps the pace of the novel moving along in a punchy way. I really enjoyed their banter and their positive attitude to knowledge and making a difference in the future of their planet. The enthusiasm that this book has for both scientific facts and utilizing science fiction to produce positive messages about future change is second to none. Overall, I would certainly recommend Einstein Superstar Code to fans of science seeking an exciting new way to explore it.

Seventeen-year-old Zac Palmer has been living an isolated life for the better part of the last two years in a remote lab alongside his friendly companion AI, James. However, an increasingly chaotic chain of events in quick succession brings him into contact with the teenage daughter of Chinese President Elli Chang and her alien friend Mala-Am. The trio must now team up with the President of the United States, Terence Francis Mitchell, and stop the Artificial General Intelligence system Lord Master and his allies from executing their nefarious plans. But to do so, they will have to rely on the wisdom of the Three Symmetry Heroes of Modern Science and find the missing part of the puzzle to access the information about symmetry's core role in nature. Will they be successful? Find out with Einstein Super Code by George Hohbach.

Apart from being a delightful action-adventure tale, Einstein Super Code also contains two catchy songs with lyrics and sheet music and, most importantly, background information on Einstein's scientific discoveries regarding symmetry's core role in nature and other much-needed symmetric eco-friendly concepts. In the first part of the book, George Hohbach emphasizes the importance of harmony between nature and humans through a charming sci-fi comedy adventure tale that young readers can immerse themselves in. The character interactions and dialogue set the pace of the narrative and keep the reader engaged. The illustrations in the second half of the book go a long way to making the content accessible and easy to understand. Overall, an educational book that also entertains.

Einstein Superstar Code by George Hohbach is a truly entertaining sci-fi tale--the kind that you can identify as having the right dose of science that blends well with its fiction. Zac, James, Elli, Mala-Am, and the US president find themselves fighting an evil Artificial General Intelligence that has taken control of the planet. In order not to be consumed by the dark power of the AGI control mastermind, they must operate within rational and analytical parameters. Albert Einstein was convinced that Nature could be understood as an amazing, simple mathematical structure in which symmetry has become his guiding principle. Einstein’s core findings on Symmetry will put the AGI Lord Master and his entire AI league back into their natural place and in harmony with humanity.

George Hohbach manages to put hardcore science into fiction in a manner that doesn’t confuse the non-science savvy among us. It has the kind of narrative that melts your cynicism away and strengthens your faith in scientific ideas as key to man’s harmonious relationship with nature and the universe. The illustrated diagrams help by reinforcing ideas about the heroes of symmetry. It is a truly entertaining tale, one that has an evergreen appeal. In fact, Einstein Superstar Code is more than just science fiction. It has dystopian overtones that examine the ramifications of our relationship with artificial intelligence and what could go wrong--a cautionary tale if you may. Hohbach delivers the narrative with the confidence of a writer who knows his research and characters. This story is a blast, and I highly recommend it to all sci-fi lovers who love a strong element of science in their fiction.
