Some experiences are worth retelling, especially if they are significant and profound, like those that Arlene Santos McCain MD recounts in her book Embrace Grace: New Medicine for a Wounded World. In this book, the author narrates her life story, the founding and development of McCain Whole Health Care (a direct primary care practice), and most of all, her spiritual life and what God has made possible for her. The narrative also includes letters and journal entries, and through these, McCain will help her readers understand the importance of the greatest value of all: love.

Embrace Grace is a splendid account of the life and deeds of an exceptional person. Not everyone writes about their spiritual life in such a direct way, and it is this honesty that struck me. The way in which Arlene Santos McCain talks about God and what He has done for her is wonderful, and I am sure her words will inspire other readers. Many of the statements she makes have universal value, and it is easy for readers to find similarities with what they may have experienced in their own lives. McCain recounts her entire existence in these pages, and it is interesting to follow her from her childhood to the present day. Finally, it is great to read about McCain Whole Health Care and everything related to it. This is a book that helps readers focus on love and hope, and I am sure McCain's story will be fascinating for all of them.
