Enhancing the Journey: The Journey Journal by Yvette Wilson Bentley takes readers on a personal journey of trials and tribulations. The book helps readers reflect on their lives and helps bring a transformation into their lives. The power of God and to look for God first in all aspects of life dominates the theme. Readers find themselves connecting with their inner selves and enhancing their own journey. The author's personal stories are relatable, making it easy for readers to connect well with her experiences and journey. The emphasis is on spiritual progress more than spiritual excellence and the book is a learning experience for everyone, irrespective of whether one is undergoing problems in life.

I found the book inspirational as it gives good guidance on how to face problems in one's life. The book has points that will help readers to look at the problems they are facing with a different perspective and help them balance the various obligations and responsibilities in life in a good way. The fact that the author speaks about God's presence, grace, mercy and forgiveness tells readers about being in a safe place when they are with God. The book is thought provoking and full of wisdom. It tells readers to look at various situations that challenge them with dignity and grace and also God's purpose in our respective lives. On the whole, the book works as an excellent guide for those who want to move forward in life when they are stuck with problems.
