I like that Every Good Gift pretty much starts out so strong, really capturing my attention. I was hooked early on and didn't want to put this book down. Author Urcelia Teixeira does a great job explaining in vivid detail the horrific scenes of the fire, and the scenes surrounding the mission and its people. The characters are very well created and I enjoyed their realistic development as the story unfolds. All in all, this is a really amazing Christian fiction novel. The ending was a little predictable for me but yet very interesting. For those who enjoy a good clean mystery with a lot of thrills, this book would be a good choice.
