People often say, “Lord, I need a miracle,” or “It will be a miracle if that happens," or "That was a miracle!” What does one think of when thinking of miracles...healing of the body? surviving a disaster? In Everyday Miracles, A Devotional Workbook and Journal, Julia Royston shows us where God works miracles everyday. People just need to open their eyes and their hearts, and miracles are there before them such as the miracle of birth or of nature. In this small book are 21 devotionals, each followed by a prayer, prayer concerns, a place to write thoughts about the devotion and a journal. From aligning yourself with God, to daily chores, to following your GPS (God's Plan Successful), to making room for Jesus, one will find the right miracle in there just for him/her.

This is a book that can be read over again many times, and one will see something different each time. I really felt close to the devotional, “Chores.” We all need to be thankful for our chores: with dirty dishes to wash, we know God has provided food to eat; with laundry to do, He has provided clothes to wear; and with carpets to vacuum, He has provided a place to live. This is a great book that would work well with a small group or Bible study or just for one's own daily devotion. As the descriptions of the book says, "The devotional is designed to speak to your spirit, the workbook to stimulate your mind and the journal to reveal your heart."
