Each chapter educates readers about what makes North Korea the country it is. The government runs the schools in North Korea and students are supposed to spend twelve years in school where their education is free. The book also speaks about the infrastructure of the country and how healthcare is free for all citizens. Readers learn about the challenges of people's daily lives and how their arts and culture are all controlled by the government.

The entire series, including this book on North Korea, gives a lot of information to readers about various countries and is a good tool to encourage them to travel to foreign lands and explore new destinations.
