Danny Boy Cadogan was large for his age. At thirteen he beat up his father. At fourteen his father abandoned the family and Danny took over the role of provider. Danny never intended to follow in the violent footsteps of his father. However, at fifteen he raped, beat and murdered a young woman. The pattern was set for his life. Killing came easier. Danny always had to be in control. He climbed the ladder to crime boss. A man with that kind of power and enemies must always look behind him.

Faces will not appeal to everyone. It is well written and action packed. However, the violence is disturbing. Without the fists and guns there would be no story. The reader is not supposed to like the lead character. He’s crime lord. There are few redeeming qualities to Danny Codigan. He’s the sort readers love to hate. The plot is excellent. Faces is a great read.
