It's ridiculous how many people are diagnosed with cancer each year. While we've gotten a lot better at treating cancer, it would be much better to figure out ways of preventing the problem to save people all that time, energy, and occasionally heartbreak. In Fear Cancer No More, Mauris Emeka takes the stance that cancer is an illness caused by nutritional deficiency and that it can be prevented if the appropriate measures are taken. Some issues that are approached in the book are: How your diet affects and could cause cancer cells, the importance of oxygen and water in fighting cancer, alkalizing your body, and so much more. With a scientific and realistic flavor to the information, it's easy to understand and believe how the different factors could benefit you and how they could fight cancer.

Some special features that were included in this book, but apparently not the first edition, was a Q and A of common questions regarding cancer. There was also some interesting information about oils that can be helpful if consumed. While I do believe that there were some items overlooked and that the cause of cancer is a bit generalized, I think that the book can be helpful to initiate a healthier way of living for folks who are at risk for cancer. The Q and A section was particularly informative for me, and answered a lot of the lingering questions that I've had about cancer. Overall, Fear Cancer No More is a self-help guide that gives you new ideas to think about regarding your current lifestyle choices in being healthy
