Forever Love by Vicki Case is a collection of soul-searching poetry that will take readers through a journey of life, love, loss and pain. The author's soul-revealing and honest emotions will help readers to connect with her feelings. The author's poetic expressions are melancholic and the collection speaks about the reality of love and the heartbreaks and insecurities that come along with it. The poet's feelings when she is in love and her emotions after the heartbreak form the main theme in many of the poems. Her poems reflect the power of love and the destruction of loss.
'Used & Tossed’ is one such poem where the poet's feelings of being used in a relationship are expressed beautifully without sounding cheap or dirty. Likewise, many poems express hurt and pain along with the joyful moments of love and passion. The last poem in the book, 'The Time Has Come,' shows the author's decision to move on in life.
