Franky is a young frog who is curious about the things around him. When he stumbles upon some children playing at school, he wants to know more about the clothes they wear and get some for himself. He tells his parents, but they are hesitant about the idea of Franky wearing clothes because frogs don’t need to wear clothes; it isn’t natural for them. Franky is determined to get clothes anyway, so he uses his own money to buy a brand-new suit. But almost immediately after Franky starts wearing these clothes, he begins to experience problems, and he doesn’t know why. Franky and The Cotton Suit by Charvi Kunal and Kunal Das is a sweet and enjoyable book that is sure to make children smile.

Franky and The Cotton Suit by Charvi Kunal and Kunal Das is an absolutely adorable book that brought a huge grin to my face. Franky was such a cute character. Watching him try so hard to fit in with others around him before realizing that it’s okay to be different could be a really powerful theme for children to take note of when reading the book. The illustrations brought the story to life, and I thought they were so well done. Looking through the pages and taking in all the characters made the experience such fun! I think this book could be a great tool for young children who are learning to read. I would recommend Franky and The Cotton Suit to everyone!
