Wow! I just finished reading Full of Fire by debut author Jennifer Millikin, and all I can say is, "Wow!" In a wonderful story of romance and intrigue, readers will follow Lila Mitchell as she meets and becomes interested in Xavier Townesend, a nightclub owner with quite the reputation as a playboy. Even though Lila is normally an introvert, preferring to see the world through her camera lens instead of being an active participant, her reaction to Xavier is like nothing she's ever experienced before. But Xavier's past isn't always so easy to deal with, and isn't always so much in the past. Will she be able to deal with this highly desirable man, or will her misgivings about his background prevent their relationship from moving ahead? You'll have to read the book to find out!

I loved Full of Fire. Loved. It. Once I started reading it, I simply could not put it down; it had me hooked from the beginning and I read it straight through. In fact, the only piece of advice I'd have for any reader who loves a great contemporary romance, besides being sure to read this book, would be to make sure you have enough time set aside to read the whole thing when you start it. You'll love it that much! I highly recommend this book, and am very much looking forward to seeing what author Jennifer Millikin has in store for her readers next. With her level of talent, it's unlikely that she'll stay undiscovered for long!

Who wouldn’t fall in love after just one first date with Xavier Townsend? He’s attractive, gracious, sweet, and romantic? Not exactly what you would expect from the bad boy playboy, which makes him all the more alluring.

Lila is a strong young woman that is not easily impressed by good looking men. But she can’t deny the chemistry that she feels for Xavier. It’s too strong for her not to take a chance.

Let’s talk romance. Romance isn’t all about roses and chocolates, but this book brings the use of roses to an entirely new level. It all begins with a date to a garden in Las Vegas (unique due to the climate of the area) where Xavier purchases a rose bush for Lila. I love the use of roses as a continuing theme throughout the story.

While this story fades to black for all the intimate scenes, it is still hot. The attraction between Lila and Xavier is expressive.

Move over Christian Grey...Xavier Townsend has taken over as the newest tormented, swoon worthy literary character in the new adult genre world.

I am the kind of reader where if I am not interested in a book within the first chapter I can't finish it. Full of Fire had me hooked within the first couple of pages. I fell in love with the main character and how relatable she is and with the story's symbolism. I love when I get lost in good story and I found myself loving Lila and her unique romance with Xavier more and more with each page turn. One of my favorite scenes in the book was how the main characters met, having been to the club scene in Vegas myself, the author gives a perfect depiction of the night life in Sin City.

If you want a quick, fun read...this is the book for you! Sequel now please!!! I must know more about Lila and Xavier!

I read this book in one night.. I couldn't put it down. You fall in love with the characters page by page and find yourself crossing your fingers everything works out for them. Each scene is written so you find yourself living the story, with the perfect amount of spice and description to let your imagination finish the romance and feeling the fury of the anger. There is just as much investment in the supporting characters, makes you want follow up books to each and every one...I can't wait for Gigi's story.

I bought the book Friday night Oct 16, 2015 and I finished it Saturday Oct 17, 2015. It was a great book. It kept your interest from the beginning to the end. I didn't want to put it down it really keeps your interest. I cant wait for the next book!!! Jennifer is a great writer and should continue to write more books. She can use the people in this book and write more about their lives. If you haven't bought it do so now you wont be sorry that is for sure.
