Goldy the Puppy was soon turning one and was going to have a birthday party. She was taken to a spa with lots of fun ideas on what to do with Goldy's soft fluffy fur. Goldy's fur could either be brushed to the top or brushed down low, and she would look good with curly pigtails. She wouldn't mind a purple bow or having her fur pink. Goldy could even be styled like a panda or with a unicorn braid down her back. If she is given a fancy haircut, Goldy could also end up looking like a cute teddy bear. Finally, what will the little boy and girl decide for Goldy?
Goldy the Puppy and the Birthday Spa Day: Goldy the Puppy Book 3 by Kim Ann is an adorable story that gives young readers a clue on what happens in a spa and the different types of puppy hairstyles that can be done if the fur is nice and fluffy. Nejla Shojaie's illustrations are bright and colorful and make the story captivating for readers. Kids will love this story and might even want to try out these hairstyles if they have dogs like Goldy at home. It is a good book to use for storytelling and read-aloud sessions in homes and classrooms, and Goldy's trip to the spa will definitely bring a smile to the faces of children. The entire series is good to have at home as young readers will enjoy Goldy's adventure stories very much.
