Tree surgeon Sam Moore was hired to trim trees when he discovered the bodies of four people, all holding guns. Oscar Strong, Crystal Strong, Pen Cooke, and well-known hacker Bob Taylor are all connected to Oscar Strong’s IT company, Strong Inc., a major vendor of financial services for the federal government, and expert at moving money around the world. Sergeant Nick Noulte is assigned to the case and is shocked by the gruesome scene but confused by the lack of blood. Oscar’s brother, Rob Strong, is actively working to take over the IT operation. Nick consults with DC police department Captain Mc Elroy, and Virginia Bureau of Investigation officer Tom Pickett and Foxtrot’s chief of police Raymond Johnson are also on the case. Pam Stone, a reporter for a DC newspaper, the Capitol Daily Wind, shares information with Nick that Oscar’s sister Legere had secretly made a deal with Oscar’s children to take over the company. There are two attempts on Nick’s life so he hides out at his friend Bernie. Secret Service agents find him and take him in as a witness in danger. Pam discovers a counterfeiting operation involving master forger Earl Graham, a member of the FBI’s top ten most wanted. Nick and Pam have to find out how the counterfeiting operation is linked to the four murders and Strong Inc.

Gore Galore is an intriguing thriller filled with action, twists, and turns. Aaron T Knight does a great job of keeping the reader enthralled as Nick goes from being disinterested to enthusiastically chasing down the killers. The interesting array of characters is easy to relate to including the FBI, VBI, CIA, etc. The scenes and locations are well described from the house where the bodies are found to the counterfeit operation and the town of Foxtrot. I especially enjoyed the way Aaron T Knight keeps the story moving, fast-paced, and interesting. The story is smooth flowing and a comfortable read. Highly recommended for all adults.
