Author Biography

Rev. Daya Devi-Doolin is known as a “Doctor of Thought." She is the Co-founder, with her husband Chris, of The Doolin Healing Sanctuary Int’l, a center that offers alternative modalities of healing and teaches Gentle Hatha Yoga. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher E-RYT 500. She is a Certified Reiki Master Teacher and trains students in the Usui Reiki method of self-healing and healing of others. They established their center in 1989.

She is an Ordained Minister, Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, Spiritual Healer & Counselor, Speaker TV/Radio. She has assisted thousands of clients through workshops, lectures, radio shows, books, interviews, personal coaching and healings globally for nearly 30 years.

Rev. Doolin is the author of eight books. Her most recent books are, Grow Thin While You Sleep! and Yoga, Meditation and Spiritual Growth for the African American Community: If You Can Breathe, You Can Do Yoga and Find Inner and Outer Peace, a yoga book for beginners and the young at heart. She is a wife and the mother of two beautiful sons.
She and her husband Chris are a musical duo and go by the name aka Level Seven on the website www.akalevelseven.com. They are award-winning songwriters and musicians.

Discover how to train your mind so it gives you the maximum benefit. Learn the skills of meditation and positive thought patterns to excel in whatever area you feel needs improvement. You will gain a good understanding of how to obtain your desires in life by thinking big, and claim what you want by knowing how to ask for it. Learn the amazing Emotional Freedom Technique and the fantastic results you achieve by tapping into your subconscious. This helps limit food cravings, pain and removes negative feelings. Once you have completed this book, you will be able to unleash your creative mind and grab a new life that will uplift you.

Grow Thin While You Sleep by Daya Devi-Doolin is not what the title suggests. If you want more than a simple diet book, then this is for you. This is a full, extensive guide to healing your mind, body and soul. You will become more spiritual and be accepting of your body and, using the techniques described, will soon get into sync with your mind and the body you dream of becomes well within reach. A very cleverly written book and the author clearly knows her subject well. The juice recipes included were delicious too. I have tried a few already. I have also tried the Emotional Freedom Technique which was incredible. I highly recommend this book. So much information crammed into this book will surprise and inspire you.
